Danielle Troxel

Danielle Troxel was born and raised on a ranch in Kula, Maui. Her childhood was shaped by exploration and reading, sparking her interest in writing. After studying Journalism in Denver, Colorado, she returned to Hawaiʻi, drawn by her strong connection to her family, friends, and animals. Danielle is passionate about collaborating with diverse illustrators to create truly one-of-a-kind books—stories that stand apart from the ordinary. She lives with her best friend, who happens to be a Dachshund named Shorty.
