Zoe Chotzen-tsuruda

Born and raised on Oahu and Maui, Zoe draws influence from her surroundings and blends practical techniques with a sense of natural textures and quiet details. Her favorite mediums include sewing, textile design, pattern making, ceramics and photography. She enjoys creating pieces that are both functional and visually grounded.

Inspired by her background and work in art as therapy, she approaches her artistic practice as a tool for reflection, growth and discovery. Her work is process-driven and rooted in the appreciation for materials and the act of making.
